Instructions

Open a PuTTY session to the ESXi host where the VM resides.

List VMs and copy VMID into notepad
# vim-cmd vmsvc/getallvms

Verify that the VM has existing snapshots (use VMID from step 2)
# vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.get <VMID>

Remove all snapshots for a specific VM
# vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.removeall <VMID>
Confirm all snapshots for the specified VM have been removed.
NOTE: This command deletes all snapshots without prompting for confirmation.
