Unable to delete RecoverPoint device failed with error
Then ran the following command:
"The operation cannot be performed because the device is mapped"Ran the following command and found that device had FA mapping and it was a RecoverPoint device:

symrpi -sid <SID> list
symrpi -sid <SID> list -cluster <Cluster_Name> -detail
Cause
User removed the device from RecoverPoint SG without performing an unprotect operation.
Resolution
Use the below command to remove RecoverPoint External tag from the device:
symrpi -sid <SID> -cluster <cluster_name> unprotect -devs <dev_id>Once the RecoverPoint tag is removed, delete the device as it would remove FA mapping which was due to RecoverPoint.
symdev -sid <SID> delete <dev_id>
