Symptômes

Eigenaars van Inspiron, XPS, Vostro, Mobile Precision en Latitude laptops kunnen merken dat bij normaal gebruik het ventilatorgeluid soms hoog lijkt.

Cause

Dit komt door beperkingen in de temperatuurregeling.

Bekijk de stapsgewijze instructies voor het verbeteren van het ventilatorgeluid.

Zakelijke laptops zoals Latitude en Mobile Precision workstations

Dell Power Manager Service (DPM) 3.0 kan mogelijk het ventilatorgeluid verminderen. Voer de volgende stappen uit om het te installeren:

  1. Open de pagina Instellingen in het menu Start. Klik op Apps.

  2. Ga naar Apps en functies om te zien of Dell Power Manager Service op uw laptop vooraf is geïnstalleerd. (Zie Afbeelding 1.)

    Ga naar stap 5 als Dell Power Manager Service op uw laptop vooraf is geïnstalleerd. Zo niet, ga dan naar stap 3.

  3. Ga naar Dell Drivers en Downloads om de DPM 3.0 Service-applicatie te downloaden.

    1. Voer uw servicetag of systeemmodel in om naar de juiste downloadpagina voor uw laptop te zoeken.

    Opmerking: Het volgende artikel begeleidt u bij het identificeren van uw laptop: Het productmodel van uw Dell computer vinden.

    1. Selecteer op de pagina Drivers en downloads de categorie Systeembeheer om de applicatie te zoeken.

    2. Download de Dell Power Manager-service.

  4. Installeer de DPM-serviceapplicatie door de installatiewizard op het scherm te volgen.
    Opmerking: De installatiewizard vraagt u om de Dell Power Manager applicatie te installeren. Klik op de knop OK om door te gaan met het installeren van de DPM-service. (Zie Afbeelding 2.)

  5. Nadat de DPM-service is geïnstalleerd, opent u de Windows Store en zoekt u naar Dell Power Manager. Klik op de knop Ophalen om te installeren. (Zie afbeelding 3)

  6. Start Dell Power Manager. Klik op Temperatuurbeheer in het linkerdeelvenster.

  7. Er worden vier thermische instellingen weergegeven. De standaardinstelling is Geoptimaliseerd, waarmee prestaties, ruis en temperatuur in evenwicht worden gebracht. De instelling Quiet vermindert de koelventilator en de processorsnelheden om het ventilatorgeluid te verminderen. Deze configuratie kan echter de prestaties verminderen en de oppervlaktetemperatuur van de laptop verhogen. (Zie afbeelding 4.)

Consumentenlaptops zoals XPS, Inspiron en Vostro

De MyDell-applicatie kan mogelijk het ventilatorgeluid verminderen. Voer de volgende stappen uit om het te installeren:

  1. Installeer MyDell vanuit de Microsoft Store.

  2. Open MyDell. (Zie afbeelding 5.)

  3. Klik op Power. (Zie afbeelding 6.)

  4. Ga naar Instellingen. (Zie afbeelding 7.)

  5. Klik op Thermisch en selecteer Stil. (Dit kan de prestaties verminderen en de oppervlaktetemperatuur van de laptop verhogen. Zie afbeelding 8.)
