Sintomi

Avamar Garbage Collection mislykkes med følgende fejl. 
Last GC: finished Fri May 22 12:25:36 2015 after 52m 16s >> recovered 0.00 KB (MSG_ERR_DUPLICATE) 

Causa

Garbage Collection blev startet mere end én gang inden for kort tid.

Bekræft dette ved at opdatere GC-vedligeholdelseslogfilerne til en fil og gennemgå indholdet. 
dumpmaintlogs --types=gc --days=5 > gc-maint.log
Følgende udtrækning af vedligeholdelseslog viser et andet Garbage Collection-job, der udstedes inden for 15 minutter efter et eksisterende job.

Tillad garbage collection at køre, naturligvis startet af vedligeholdelsesplanlægningen.

Brugere bør ikke forsøge at starte Garbage Collection manuelt, enten via administratorgrænsefladen eller fra kommandolinjen.
