Dell Unity: Ftp-server dwingen binaire modus te gebruiken (op te lossen door gebruiker)

Riepilogo: Bij het uploaden van tekstbestanden naar de FTP-server van Unity, kan het formatteren van bestanden ongeldig worden vanwege het verschil tussen Windows- en Unix-/Linux end-of-line (EOL)-tekens. Windows gebruikt twee tekens, CR+LF terwijl Unix/Linux alleen LF gebruikt. Standaard gebruikt de FTP-server van Unity de ASCII-overdrachtsmodus en aangezien Unity een Unix/Linux-basis gebruikt, worden alle EOL-tekens geconverteerd naar LF. Hierdoor lijken bestanden te zijn verbroken bij het lezen van een Windows-client. Om dit gedrag te voorkomen, moeten bestanden worden geüpload via de overdrachtsmodus van de bin. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het bestand wordt overgedragen "as is" zonder wijzigingen. Dit kan ook handig zijn bij het overdragen van image-, audio- en videobestanden, omdat ze ook binaire modus vereisen om beschadiging te voorkomen. ...

Om de FTP-server van Unity te dwingen binaire overdrachtsmodus te gebruiken, gebruikt u deze opdracht:

    spa:~/user# svc_nas ALL -param -facility ftpd -modify forceBinXfer -value 1
  
param ftpd.forceBinXfer added into the list of visible params
SPA : done

Warning 17716815750: SPA: U moet de SP opnieuw opstarten om forceBinXfer-wijzigingen door te voeren.

De SP moet opnieuw worden opgestart om de wijziging van kracht te laten worden.
 

Deze opdracht kan worden gebruikt om de huidige configuratie te controleren:
 

    spa:~/user# svc_nas ALL -param -facility ftpd -l

SPA:
    param_name facility default current configured
forceBinXfer ftpd 0 1 1

SPB:
    param_name facility default current configured
