You may experience one of both of the following behaviors:

  • The volume goes to 100 percent when playing music or video through the monitor's integrated speakers.
  • The sound becomes muted after the on-screen menu (OSD) disappears while audio is playing.

Updating to Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM) version 2.2.0.19 or later resolves this issue.
