Symptoms
Het Avamar garbage collection-proces mislukt met;
ERROR: <4202> failed garbage collection with error MSG_ERR_BADTIMESYNC
Cause
Tijd wordt niet gesynchroniseerd tussen een of meer Avamar-dataknooppunten en utility-knooppunten.
Dit zorgt ervoor dat Avamar-onderhoudsactiviteiten mislukken.

Resolution
Oplossing:
1. Meld u aan bij Avamar tijdens een putty-sessie. Laad de beheerderssleutels.
Zie Avamar: Aanmelden bij een Avamar server en verschillende sleutels
laden2. De controletijd wordt gesynchroniseerd op alle Avamar knooppunten. Zie BIJLAGE A voor uitvoervoorbeelden.
Als de tijd niet wordt gesynchroniseerd
3. Volg de Avamar: NTP wijzigen op een Avamar server met behulp van asktime om tijd te synchroniseren op alle knooppunten.
4. Controleer of de garbage collection is voltooid.
