症状

PowerProtect Data Manager 虚拟机备份失败，并ABV0006退出状态。   
ABV0006: VM Direct engine 'localhost' is unable to back up the virtual machine 'MY-VMNAME' on vCenter 'MY-VCENTER'.

Protection of this virtual machine by the VM Direct engine cannot be completed because the backup was unsuccessful.

Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or review the log files at /var/log/brs/vmdm for more detailed information to troubleshoot the issue.
PowerProtect Data Manager //var/log/brs/vmdm/vmdm.log 显示：

原因

vSphere Data Center 名称具有一个特殊字符 （/），在提供完整 vmx 文件路径时导致问题。

解决方案

在 vSphere UI 中重命名 vSphere 数据中心名称，而不使用正斜杠特殊字符 （/）， 或将其替换为另一个特殊字符（例如：Dash）。
