Introduzione
Il protocollo ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) consente l'invio di pacchetti IPv4 su reti convertendo gli indirizzi di rete IP in indirizzi hardware MAC e gli indirizzi MAC in indirizzi IP. L'indirizzo MAC e l'indirizzo IP corrispondente dei dispositivi di destinazione vengono mantenuti nella tabella ARP. Utilizzando l'indirizzo IP, la tabella ARP consente allo switch di recuperare rapidamente l'indirizzo MAC associato, incapsulare il pacchetto IP in un frame L2 e trasmetterlo in rete a una destinazione.Visualizzazione delle voci ARP IPv4
Per visualizzare le voci della tabella ARP, utilizzare il comando show ip arp . Per filtrare l'output, specificare un'interfaccia, un canale della porta o una VLAN, un indirizzo IP nel formato x.x.x.x, un indirizzo MAC o una combinazione di più di un valore da abbinare. È inoltre possibile visualizzare le informazioni di riepilogo e le voci ARP IPv4 in uno specifico VRF.Sintassi dei comandi

NOTA: L'ultima voce ARP per l'indirizzo IP di loopback 0.0.0.0 può essere inserita dal NEIGH_TABLE SONiC di APPL_DB. Per eliminare la voce, è necessario eliminarla manualmente dal REDIS_DB utilizzando la redis-cli o qualsiasi altra applicazione che consenta di modificare il REDIS_DB.

Cancellare le voci IPv4
Per eliminare le voci IPv4 acquisite dinamicamente dalla tabella ARP, utilizzare il comando clear ip arp. Per specificare le voci da eliminare, immettere un'interfaccia, un port channel o una VLAN, un indirizzo IPv4 o una combinazione da abbinare. Inserire forza per eliminare le voci ARP configurate in modo statico. Utilizzare il comando show ip arp per verificare che le voci IPv4 siano state eliminate.
