Installing the WLAN card

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

NOTE:To avoid damage to the wireless card, do not place any cables under it.

The following images indicate the location of the wireless card and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure:

Installing the WLAN card

Connect the antenna cables to the WLAN card.

The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme for the wireless card supported by your computer.

Connectors on the wireless card	Antenna-cable color
Main (white triangle)	White
Auxiliary (black triangle)	Black

Slide and place the wireless card bracket on the antennae connectors on the WLAN card.
Align the notch on the wireless card with the tab on the wireless-card slot.
Slide the wireless card at an angle into the wireless-card slot of the system board.
Replace the single (M2x3) screw that secures the wireless card to the system board.
