Removing PCIe expansion card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover

    2. front bezel

  3. Pull the metal tab to open the expansion card latch.Figure displaying the removing the metal tab
  4. To remove the PCIe expansion card:
    1. Pull the release latch to unlock the PCIe expansion card [1].
    2. Push the release tab [2] and lift the PCIe expansion card out of the computer [3].
      • NOTE: The release tab is at the base of the expansion card.

  5. Repeat the steps to remove any additional PCIe expansion cards.
