Removing the Display Panel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the display panel. [1]
    2. Flip the display around so that screen is facing upwards. [2][3]
    3. Pry along the edges to separate the display panel from the display assembly.

  4. Perform the following steps to remove the display panel:
    1. Disconnect the eDP cable from the display assembly. [1]
    2. Disconnect the camera connector cables from the display assembly. [2][3]
    3. Remove the display panel from the display assembly. [4]
