Removing the microphones

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the following components:
   1. Stand
   2. Back cover
   3. System board shield
   4. Base cover
   5. I/O bracket
   6. Speakers
3. To remove the microphone and cable:
   1. Disconnect the microphone module cable from the system board [1].
   2. Unroute the microphone module cable from the routing guides on the display assembly base [2].
      
   3. Remove the two screws (M2x2.5) that secure the microphone modules to the middle frame [1,3].
   4. Lift the microphone modules off the slots on the middle frame [2,4].
