Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. WLAN card
3. To release the display assembly:
   1. Peel the adhesive tapes that secure the display cable and touch screen board cables [1] [2].
   2. Open the latches and disconnect the display and touch screen board cables from the system board [3] [4].
   
4. Turn the computer over and open the display.
5. To remove display assembly:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the laptop chassis [1].
   2. Lift the display assembly away from the laptop chassis [2].
