BOSS-S2カード キャリアー カード固有のコントローラー設計により、M.2ドライブをホット プラグすることができます。この機能により、M.2の交換中にダウンタイムが発生する可能性が低くなります。自動再構築では劣化が識別されたM.2設定済みドライブが置き換えられ、自動再構築が開始されます。
注: M.2ドライブのホットプラグ イベントのIntegrated Dell Remote Access Controller（iDRAC）およびLifecycle Controller（LC）ログは、リアル タイムではアップデートされません。

ドライブの取り外しや欠落に関する情報は、iDRACによって照会されたハード ドライブで確認できます。イベント ログにより、M.2モジュールの削除、障害、および再構築のステータスに関する情報を確認できます。iDRACとOMSAには、仮想ドライブのステータス、およびSMARTと残留書き換え耐久性（RRWE）などのハード ドライブのステータスが表示されます。
