Create a container in Azure hot blob storage

A storage account is required in the same region where DDVE is deployed. Create a separate storage account for each DDVE.

Steps

  1. Create a StorageV2 account in the same region where DDVE is deployed. Select the following values:
    • Performance—Standard
    • Account kind—General-purpose V2
    • Access tier—Hot
  2. Create a new hot blob container as the backup storage for the DDVE. Ensure that the container is empty.
Shows Containers dialog with name field and Create button
For more information, see Manage blob in Azure Portal.
    1. Go to your new storage account and to the Blob service section.
    2. Select Containers, and click + Container. Type a name for the container.
    3. Set the public access level to Private (no anonymous access), and click Create.
