  1. Peel the tape off the touch-pad bracket.

  2. Remove the screws that secure the touch-pad bracket to the touch pad.
  3. Lift the latch and disconnect the touch-pad cable from touch pad.

  4. Peel off the tape over the touch pad.
  5. Lift the touch pad off the palm rest.
