Procedure

  1. Lift and hold the touch-pad cable to access the keyboard cable and keyboard-backlight cable latches under it.
  2. Lift the latches and disconnect the keyboard cables and keyboard-backlight cables from the keyboard daughter-board.
  3. Using a plastic scribe, gently pry out the keyboard daughter-board from the computer base.
