Clearing CMOS settings

  • WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer and follow the steps in Before working inside your computer .   1. Remove the base cover.
  2. Remove the jumper plug from pins 3 and 4 and replace it on pins 1 and 3.

  3. Replace the base cover.
  4. Turn on your computer and wait till the operating system is completely loaded.
  5. Turn off your computer.
  6. Remove the base cover.
  7. Remove the jumper plug from pins 1 and 3 and replace it on pins 3 and 4.
