Procedure

  1. Remove the screw (M3x5) that secures the hard-drive assembly to the middle frame.
  2. Slide the hard-drive assembly out of the hard-drive slot and lift the hard-drive assembly off the computer.
  3. Remove the power and data cable from the routing guides on the middle frame.
  4. Disconnect the power and data cable from the hard drive.
  5. Remove the three screws (M3x3.5) that secure the hard drive to the hard-drive bracket.
