Removing the fan shroud
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the left-side cover.

Steps
- Lay the computer with its right side facing down.
- Press on both securing clips to release the fan shroud from the fan and heat-sink assembly.
- Slide and lift the fan shroud off the system board.
