Removing the Base Cover

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer [1].
    2. Slide the base cover to release it from the computer [2].
