Removing the Display Assembly

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. SD card
    3. base cover
    4. keyboard
    5. palmrest
  3. Remove the screw that secures the display assembly to the computer.

  4. Disconnect the LVDS and camera cable from the system board. Disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless solution.

  5. Unroute the cables from the slot.

  6. Remove the screw and pull the antenna cables from the holes on the base chassis that secure the display assembly to the computer.

  7. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer and lift the display assembly from the computer.
