Removing the WWAN card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. To remove the WWAN card:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the WWAN card [1].
    2. Remove the metal bracket [2].
    3. Disconnect the WWAN cables from the connectors on the WWAN card [3].
    4. Remove the WWAN card from the computer [4].
