Download using QR code—Use your phone to scan the QR code from the QR postcard that is shipped along with your device. It will redirect you to iOS App Store or Google Play Store where you can download and install MyDell Mobile for free.
Login to MyDell Mobile—For personal device user experience, you can login to MyDell Mobile using an active Dell account.
Dashboard screen
View your devices—The supported computers and devices linked to your MyDell Mobile account are displayed on the
Dashboard screen.
View new orders using pull-down gesture—Use the pull-down gesture from the
Dashboard screen to view the latest orders and updates.
Add a device using order details—Enter the
Billing email,
Purchase ID, and the
Billing zipcode to add a device to your MyDell Mobile account.
Add a device using Service Tag—Manually enter the
Service Tag or scan the
Service Tag using the phone to add a device to your MyDell Mobile account.
Notifications—Access notifications from the
Dashboard screen. Tap the notification and get redirected to the appropriate screen to read the notification. You can also view the notifications from the lock screen of your phone. The warranty expiration notification is displayed when the warranty of the device is expired or is about to expire shortly.
Track orders—Track new orders from the
Dashboard screen.
NOTE If there is an active order that is placed with your registered email address,
Track your order notification is displayed on the
Dashboard screen.
Discover screen—This screen provides details about Dell solutions that are related to products, accessories, and software that can further improve your Dell experience. You can browse through free software recommendations, Dell trade in and recycle programs, product announcements, and Dell news. You can also find content and links to Dell consumer programs and Dell software applications. Specific content is displayed related to the computers and devices that are added to the
Dashboard screen.
Support screen
Support Articles—You can browse through the self-help articles for your selected computers and devices.
Help with this app—You can view
MyDell Mobile Walkthrough and
FAQs in this screen.
Chat with Tech Support—You can chat with Dell technical support to resolve issues for your supported computers and devices.
NOTE The chat option is available for all the supported computers and devices under warranty.
Contact Support—MyDell Mobile also provides technical support, order support, or sales support depending upon the type of support you require from Dell.
Profile screen
View order history—View the order history of your supported computers and devices. You can also track the shipment status of your order.
Manage Communications—Opt In or
Opt out to receive personal communications, business communications, and member programs email messages from Dell.
NOTE Dell provides you information regarding product offers for home, work, or gaming through personal communication email messages. Business communication email messages from Dell pertain to the information related to newsletters and product offers for work.
