Removing speaker

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Side cover
    2. Heat sink blower
  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Release the speaker cable from the retention hooks on the heat sink blower [1].
    2. Remove the two (M2.5x4) screws that secure the speaker to the heat sink blower [2].
    3. Remove the speaker from the heat sink blower [3].
