Removing the system board

1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. cover
   2. fan duct
   3. front bezel
   4. memory module
   5. hard drive assembly
   6. optical drive
   7. expansion card
   8. optional SSD card
   9. SD card reader
   10. VGA daughter board
   11. heat sink
   12. processor
3. To remove the I/O panel:
   1. Remove the screw that secures the I/O panel to the chassis [1].
   2. Remove the I/O panel from the computer [2].
   
4. Disconnect all the cables connected to the system board.
   
5. To remove the system board:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the computer [1].
   2. Slide the system board toward the front of the computer and lift it from the computer [2].
