Changing default login password using web interface
When you log
in to iDRAC Web interface, if the Default Password Warning page is displayed, you can change the password. To do this:
- Select the Change Default Password option.
- In the New Password field, enter
the new password.
NOTE:For information on recommended characters for user names and passwords, see Recommended characters in user names and passwords.
- In the Confirm Password field, enter the password again.
- Click Continue. The new password
is configured and you are logged in to iDRAC.
NOTE:Continue is enabled only if the passwords entered in the New Password and Confirm Password fields match.
