Removing drive blank
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions
CAUTION Mixing drive blanks from previous generations of PowerEdge servers is not supported
CAUTION To maintain
proper system cooling, all empty drive slots must have drive
blanks installed.
Steps
Press the release button and slide the
drive blank out of the drive slot.Figure 1. Removing drive blank
