Installing the USB module
Prerequisites
Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
NOTE:The procedure to install the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 modules is similar.
Steps
- Route the USB cable on the USB module, through the USB slot on the front panel.
- Insert the USB module into the slot on the front panel.
- Align the screw on the module with the screw hole on the system.
- Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, replace the screw to secure the module to the system.
- Route the USB
cable and connect it to the USB connector on the system board. For more information, see the System board jumpers and connecters section.
