Rescanning the disks
The Rescan Disks option rescans all the channels, searches for new or removed physical disks, and re-reads the configuration information from each physical disk.
NOTE: Sometimes when a physical
disk has failed, you can get it online through a rescan.
- Enter the BIOS Configuration Utility. See Entering the BIOS Configuration Utility.
- In the Main Menu screen, use the arrows to select the Rescan Disks.
- Press <Enter> to continue rescanning.
