Removing the LED board

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the microSD card.
  3. Remove the base cover.
  4. Remove the battery.
  5. Remove the ssd.
  6. Remove the ssd bracket.
  7. Remove the palmrest bracket.

Steps

  1. Unlock and disconnect the USH cable from the pamlrest [1,2].

  2. Unlock and disconnect the LED board cable from the system board [1].
  3. Un-route the LED board cable from the computer chassis [2].

  4. Remove the single (M2x2.5) screw and lift the LED board out of the computer [1,2].
