Removing the Solid state drive

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the microSD card.
  3. Remove the base cover.
  4. Remove the battery.

Steps

  1. Remove the two screws that secure the ssd to computer [1] and slide the ssd module along with the metal bracket from the connector [2].

  2. Turn the metal bracket over and detach the ssd module from the thermal pad on the metal bracket.
