Removing the Heatsink

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the microSD card.
  3. Remove the base cover.
  4. Remove the battery.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the Heatsink fan cable from the connector on the system board [1].

  2. Remove the seven (M2x3) screws and the two (M2x5) screws as per the numerical callout on the Heatsink [1].
  3. Lift the Heatsink out of the computer [2].
