Installing the heat sink assembly

  1. Replace the heat-sink assembly in its slot.
  2. Tighten the captive screws to secure the heat-sink assembly to the computer.
    • NOTE: Tighten the screws based on the order mentioned in the removal procedure.
  3. Connect the heat-sink fan cables to the system board.
  4. Install the:
    1. palmrest

    2. keyboard

    3. hard drive

    4. base cover

    5. battery

    6. battery cover

  5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer .
