Supported cabling configurations

You can cable MD1400 or MD1420 enclosures to host systems and to more storage enclosures in three different configurations:

  • Single-port configuration
  • Redundant configuration
  • Multi-chain configuration
NOTE:Clustering is not supported on MD1400 and M1420 enclosures. Only 0.5 m, 2 m, and 4 m mini-SAS HD cables are supported.
