NX3240 system overview
The NX3240 system is a 2U rack-mount Windows Storage Server system that supports up to:
- Two Intel Xeon Processor Scalable Family processors
- 24 DIMM slots supporting up to 384 GB of memory
- Two AC power supply units
- 18 SAS, SATA hard drives. For more information about supported drives, see Technical specifications.

of SAS and SATA hard drives are referred to as drives in this document,
unless specified otherwise.
