Procedure (with screws)

NOTE: There is a running change on implementing a new blue tool-less plastic bracket for the primary hard-disk drive. Technicians encounter that later revisions of the systems have the new blue tool-less plastic bracket for the primary hard-disk drive.
  1. Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
  2. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive cage to the chassis.

  3. Lift the hard-drive cage off the chassis.

  4. Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the hard-drive cage.
  5. Lift the hard drive off the hard-drive cage.
    NOTE: Note the orientation of the hard drive to replace it correctly.
