Removing the system cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
- Turn off the system and any attached peripherals.
- Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
- If installed, remove the front bezel.
- Place the system on a flat, stable surface.
Steps
- Turn the latch release lock to the unlocked position.
- Press the cover release latch and remove the system cover.

- Install the system cover.
- Place the system upright on its feet on a flat and stable surface.
- Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet.
