Procedure
- Follow the step 4 procedure in “ Replacing the I/O board ”.
- Slide the tab on the battery (applicable for configuration with hard drive only) under the hard-drive bracket and place the battery on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Align the screw holes on the battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Replace the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Connect the battery cable to the system board.
