Procedure

  1. Remove the screw that secures the display-cable bracket to the system board.
  2. Slide and lift the display-cable bracket off the system board.
  3. Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.

  4. Open the palm rest and keyboard assembly at an angle.

  5. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
  6. Slide and lift the palm rest and keyboard assembly off the display assembly.
