Procedure

Remove the screw that secures the display-cable bracket to the system board and lift the display-cable bracket off the system board.
Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
Open the latches and disconnect the touch-pad cable and keyboard cable from the system board.

4. keyboard cable
Remove the screw that secures the system board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
Lift the system board off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.

3. palm rest and keyboard assembly
