Removing the system board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
  3. Open the front bezel door.
  4. Remove the:
  5. Disconnect all the cables from the connectors on the system board.
  6. To remove the system board:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the computer [1].
    2. Slide the system board toward the front of the computer and lift it away from the computer [2].
