Removal
Cover
Identify the cover highlighted in blue.
Pull the release latch to release the cover.
Rotate the cover and lift the cover to remove it from the computer.
PSU hinge
Identify the power supply unit (PSU) hinge highlighted in blue
Unlock the release tabs on the back of the system
Rotate the power supply unit hinge up to an open position.
Front fan assembly
Identify the front fan highlighted in blue.
Unroute the hard drive card cables from over the fan bracket.
Disconnect the front fan cable from the system board.
To release the front fan from the bracket, push the tab securing the front fan to the bracket.
Lift the front fan off the computer.
Front fan
Position the front fan to enable AR.
Identify the front fan highlighted in blue.
Release the fan cable from the hook on the fan frame.
Flip over the fan.
Pry from all sides and remove the fan from the frame.
Install
Front fan
Position the front fan bracket to install the front fan.
Identify the front fan location highlighted in blue.
Replace the fan into the frame.
Flip over the fan.
Route the fan cable through the hook on the fan frame.
Front fan assembly
Identify the front fan location highlighted in blue.
Replace the front fan on the fan bracket.
Press the tab to secure the front fan to the bracket on the computer.
Connect the front fan cable to the system board.
Route the hard drive card cables from over the front fan bracket.
PSU hinge
Identify the power supply unit (PSU) cage highlighted in blue.
Rotate the power supply unit cage downwards into the system.
Lock the release tabs to secure the power supply unit hinge to the system.
Cover
Identify the cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the hooks on the cover with the tabs on the chassis of the computer.
Rotate the cover until it clicks into place.
