Kirankumar Bhusanurmath

Kirankumar Bhusanurmath is a Product Manager and Technical Marketing Engineer at Dell Technologies, where he leads technical strategy and execution for the Dell AI Data Platform (AIDP) and AI Factory initiatives. As a subject matter expert, he drives end-to-end technical alignment, solution design, and ecosystem integration to accelerate AI and data innovation across the enterprise, bringing global engineering experience across China, India, and the United States.

Kiran brings deep expertise in large-scale, complex data infrastructure, having led one of the world's largest Hadoop cluster deployments and migrations, spanning 5,000+ nodes and 100+ petabytes. A recognized Apache Hadoop contributor, his code and architecture contributions run in production within certified ISV partner products used by customers today, alongside open-source contributions that continue to power real-world platforms. He has authored 50+ articles and research papers, writes regularly at his professional blog Unstructured Data Quick Tips, and holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UMass Amherst along with MIT's "Tackling the Challenges of Big Data" program. He has spoken at SNIA Storage Developer Conference (SDC) 2026, OCP Summit, AI Summits, NVIDIA GTC, Dell Technologies World, and SuperCompute 2025.
