Resolution

When running Microsoft Windows 7 or 8.1 with the Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization software on your endpoints, it is recommended to deploy Dell Encryption version 8.7.1 or greater. If previous versions of Dell Encryption are deployed with the Hyper-V software, serious issues such as computer crashes, blue or black screen may occur requiring a Dell Encryption data recovery be performed.

If running Windows 10 and Hyper-V, it is recommended to deploy Dell Encryption version 8.13 or greater.
