How to Remove and Reinstall Memory Module for Latitude 3420

This video will demonstrate the removal and reinstall procedure of a Memory Module for the Latitude 3420.

To remove the memory module, flip the laptop over and remove the 6 screws from the base cover. Find and loosen the two screws at the back of the cover and gently pry the cover away from the hinges. Lift the base cover, identify the memory module, and remove the tape. Unlatch the module and grasp the edges to remove the module from the system.

To reinstall the memory module, retape and realign the notch with the tab. Place the module back in its correct spot. Secure the base cover with the screws.
