How to Remove and Reinstall SSD for Latitude 3420

This video will demonstrate removal and reinstall procedure of a SSD for Latitude 3420.

To remove the SSD, flip the laptop over and remove the 6 screws from the base cover. Find and loosen the two screws at the back of the cover and gently pry the cover away from the hinges. Lift the base cover, locate the SSD and remove the screws securing it to the motherboard. Lift the SSD up and away from the system.

To reinstall the SSD, place it back in its correct spot and tighten the screw, securing it to the system. Secure the base cover with the screws.
