How to Create a Virtual Disk Using iDRAC9

Here’s how to create a virtual disk using iDRAC9.  Log in to iDRAC.  Select Configuration, then Storage Configuration.  Select the controller to work with. Then expand Virtual Disk Configuration.

Select Create Virtual Disk. Name and configure your virtual disk. Select the physical disks to use. Then click Add to Pending Operations.  Close the dialog box.Then click Apply Now, At Next Reboot, or At Scheduled Time as required.
