To generate a Tech Support Report using iDRAC8, download and install the "Dell iDRAC service module" from dell.com/support. Open a web browser and log in to the iDRAC Web UI. Select "Troubleshooting", then "Tech Support Report". Choose the data to export, check the "I Agree" box, then click export. Save the zip file when the export is complete.
Here's how to generate a Tech Support Report using iDRAC8. If you haven't already done so, download the Dell iDRAC service module from dell.com/support, and install it on your server OS.
Open a web browser. If you're using Internet Explorer, make sure that "Compatibility View" is switched off.
Log in to the iDRAC Web UI. Select "Troubleshooting", then "Tech Support Report".
Choose the data to export. Check the "I Agree" box, then click export. When the export is complete, click "OK", and save the zip file.
